PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remedy for dysuria, obtained from a discovery that a long chain alcohol derivative of cyclohexenone improves the dysuria caused by a hypofunction of the urinary bladder. SOLUTION: This remedy for dysuria contains a long chain alcohol derivative of cyclohexenone expressed by the general formula (I) (R1, R2, and R3 are each H or methyl; and X is a 10-28C alkylene or alkenylene of which the chain may be straight or branched) as an active ingredient.
