PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine capable of preventing foreign materials such as condensate, machine oil, dust, etc., entering an ice storage case from an opening part of a base member. SOLUTION: An ice making unit 2 is disposed on the box shaped ice storage case whose upper part is opened. The ice making unit 2 is provided with a vertical ice discharging cylinder 4, and an auger type ice making mechanism 5 provided substantially in parallel with the ice discharging cylinder 4. The ice discharging cylinder 4 is composed of a chute 6 and a heat insulating material 7 wound on its outer peripheral surface. On the peripheral edge of the opening part 9 of a base member 12, an annular protruding part 13 is provided inside the outside diameter of the heat insulating material 7 of the ice discharging cylinder 4 throughout all the periphery. The condensate dropping on the base member 12 is prevented from entering a seal 11 by the protruding part 13 of the base member 12.
