PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting leg for a protective plate for a roof-floor waterproofing membrane and a protective structure for the roof-floor waterproofing membrane, which can prevent the protective plate from being blown off by wind pressure and promote melting of snow on the protective plate. SOLUTION: The supporting leg for the protective plate for the roof-floor waterproofing membrane is composed of an ascendable/descendable supporting part 1, whose height is adjustable and whose upper part has a supporting plate 3 for supporting respective corner parts 20a of the four square protective plates 20 by a top face, and a retaining plate 15 which makes the four corner parts 20a of the protective plate 20, supported by the supporting plate 3, retained from a top face thereof and is fastened to the supporting plate 3 with a bolt 16 in order to tightly fasten the protective plate 20. A positioning protrusion 11 for positioning the protective plate 20 is provided protrusively on the top face of the supporting plate 3 in such a manner that a required gap 22 can be opened between the protective plates 20 adjacent to each other at the respective corner parts 20a of the protective plates 20. The protective plate 20 for protecting the roof-floor waterproofing membrane is laid on the waterproofing membrane.
