PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such inconvenience as when tea or soup stock is made using a pack of tea or soup stock and stirred with a pack string or a separate spoon, stirring force of the pack string is weak or a spoon may not be near in place, to impart stirring effect as of spoon, and to join the tea or soup stock pack to a rodlike object. SOLUTION: A method is provided for attaching the pack to the hollow, long and narrow rodlike stirring object. The pack allows passage of a liquid but not allow passage of solid matter, such as powder, granules, or chips. For instance, a straw 3 having a V-shaped cut 5 and a slit 6 is used as the hollow, long and narrow rodlike object. A pack 8 containing tea 10' is attached to the straw 3 by being inserted in and held by the slit. By putting the drink pack 1' into hot water and stirring the hot water with the straw 3 with the pack 8 attached thereto, a tea can be conveniently made.
