PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper processor capable of stacking paper in a registered state by stably delivering the paper on a delivery tray, and having the shift function excellent in convenience in use. SOLUTION: This paper processor has a shift roller 11 and a driven roller 12 for sorting the paper by delivering the carrying paper by moving the paper by a specific quantity in the direction orthogonal to the carrying direction, the delivery tray for loading the delivered paper, and a delivery means existing downstream in the paper delivery direction of the shift roller 11, and composed of a delivery roller 13 and a driven roller 14 for delivering the paper on the delivery tray by sandwiching the carried paper. Projecting swelling is imparted to a delivery lower guide plate 42 so as to avoid contact with a paper surface of the delivery roller 13 when shifting the paper in a state of sandwiching the paper by the shift roller 11 and the driven roller 12.
