Stains are removed from a surface by applying a mixture of pH 10 or less comprising (a) an aqueous composition comprising hydrogen peroxide or an organic peracid having a pH of greater than 0 but less than 7 and (b) an aqueous composition comprising an enzyme, wherein (a) and/or (b) additionally comprise at least one surfactant or water-soluble polymer and are mixed not more than two hours before being applied to the surface. Components (a) and (b) may be contained in a two-compartment dispenser and dispensed sequentially or simultaneously. |
