PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent colors from mixing due to increase in quantity of applied ink and to improve the coloring property, solvent resistance and heat resistance of a color filter in a method for manufacturing the color filter by using an inkjet method. SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer to be made into a coloring part by applying the ink so as to be colored is made to have a double layer structure. The contact angle of the aqueous ink with respect to the ink receiving layer on the side in contact with a transparent substrate is made smaller than that of the upper layer and further the layer is formed by using a thermosetting resin composition containing an acrylic resin including a cationic compound.
