MEASURING METHOD FOR COIL WINDING SHAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a winding slack of a coil including a slack resulting from the curve of a plate end by using the technology for measuring the distance between an end surface of the and a range finder by scanning the end surface by the range finder. SOLUTION: A peak tracing process is performed for distance data and respective peak trace data are compared with their adjacent measurement data; and measurement data satisfying (1)α<(measurement data)-(peak trace data) are judged and a winding slack quality is found from (2) (winding quantity)=(number of pieces of winding slack data)×(data sampling pitch of range finder).
