PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve surface conditions of an end surface of a grinding wheel after dressing operation is applied for improving grinding performance by improving technique for dressing the end surface of the grinding wheel used for a centerless grinding machine. SOLUTION: A rotation center axis 1a of a rotary dresser 1 is inclined for a micro-angleθto a center axis 4c of the grinding wheel 4. A cutting blade surface of a diamond 3 for dressing an end surface (surface facing a member to be dressed) is put to get in contact with the end surface 4b of the grinding wheel of the dressed surface inclined by the micro-angleθ.
