PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell for spectrophotometry that can secure smooth safety and in an observation experiment by holding durability in an observation container, fully securing volume in a container where the observation sample is injected, and at the same time achieves accurate observation of photochemical reaction. SOLUTION: In the cell for spectrophotometry, a cylindrical sample chamber (X) for injecting an observation sample is arranged at the center; a reaction light incidence window section (1), where reaction light enters is formed at one side of a spectral cell body (Y) and a reaction light emission window section (2) for emitting reaction light, is formed at the side of the spectral cell body (Y) that opposes the reaction light incidence window section (1); at the same time an observation light incidence window section (3) for applying observation light is formed on the other side of the spectral cell body (Y) that crosses orthogonally between the reaction light incident window section (1) and the reaction light emission window section (2) and an observation light emitting window section (4) for emitting observation light is formed at the side of the spectrum cell body (Y), that faces the observation light incidence window section (3); and the observation light incidence window section (3) and the observation light emitting window section (4) are arranged, so at that approach the reaction light incidence window section (1).
