PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior/exterior panel wherein a surface layer comprising a thin metal sheet is integrally applied and laminated to the surface of a base material layer formed of a lightweight and flexible material like a resin foam material and an engaging recessed groove having an almost U-shaped cross section is formed to the terminal part or the like of the panel, and to provide a terminal processing method therefor. SOLUTION: Surface layers 2 each comprising a thin metal sheet are applied and laminated to both surfaces of the base material layer 1 comprising a thermoplastic resin and having numberless closed or open gaps 1b, the surfaces layers are linearly pressed by pressure elements 4 while heated, and the base material is softened and melted at the heated and pressed parts to depress the surface layers to form engaging recessed grooves.
