Equipment for drawing in and feeding strips, films and bands of different materials into a film shredder, especially a granulator, comprises a pair of equal diameter, parallel rolls rotating in opposite directions and forming a gap between them. Stripper plates (3,4) located below the rolls on both sides of the gap have internal air channels (5) through which a pressurised gas flows to nozzle openings (6) feeding the gas directly onto the rolls.
