1301396 Counters SPECTROL ELECTRONICS CORP 7 May 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 22172/70 Heading G4D [Also in Division F2] A dial mechanism comprises a housing 11, 12 in which are an indicator (e.g. digital wheels 14) rotatively driven (e.g. via a worm 41 and wheels 46, 45, 48) by a sleeve 35 the bor of which can receive the shaft 23 of an electrical instrument (e.g. a potentiometer 21) the sleeve having releasable shaft securing (e.g. a grubscrew 40) and a releasably secured knob 13 covering one end of the sleeve. The knob may be of plastics and be shaped to resiliently locate on a flat 37 and groove 38 on the sleeve. The shaft 23 may have a slot 25 and the sleeve 35 a brake 50, 51 to allow relative adjustment prior to tightening the screws 40. |
