An assembly for providing louvre blade mounts is disclosed. The assembly comprising a pair of control bars (14A, 14B) which are operatively engaged with the blade mounts, the control bars (14 A, 14B) being L-shaped with one leg having a plurality of openings (15), and the other leg slidingly engaging with or terminating adjacent to a return (16) which extends inwardly from the free edge of each side wall (13) of a channel shaped mullion (10). Each of the blade mounts (20) has a first projection which passes through the opening in one of the control bars (14 A, 14B), and a second projection which passes through the opening in the other of the control bars (14 A, 14B).
