PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color measuring instrument having a loaded development system color model arranged perceptively, capable of expressing numerically a measured color based on the color model, and outputting the result in the form suitable for processing by a computer. SOLUTION: This color measuring instrument 1 using the color model M having attached codes based on the ratio of an RGB spectral wavelength relative to each color arranged perceptively has a constitution equipped with an image formation means 2 for forming an image optically of light from a measuring object, an imaging device 3 for converting an optical image acquired by the image formation means 2 into an electric signal, a conversion means 4 for converting the electric signal converted by the imaging device 3 into a numerical value based on the ratio of the RGB spectral wavelength, a comparison means 6 for comparing the numerical value with the color model M, and a display means 7 for displaying at least the code determined to be the same as or the most similar to the numerical value by the comparison means 6. |
