PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation containing the extract from Orthosiphon aristatus Bold and/or betel palm. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is characterized by containing the extract from Orthosiphon aristatus Bold and/or betel palm. The extract has excellent active oxygen scavenging activity, histamine liberation inhibitory activity, hyaluronidase inhibitory activity and antimicrobial activity and also stability; therefore this skin care preparation is safe, being excellent in skin aging preventive activity and rough skin and pimple ameliorative activities. |
