PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food package which can be cooked by heating in a microwave oven by restraining boiling over or scattering of contents during cooking, when foods which require long time heat cooking are to be cooked with heat in the microwave oven. SOLUTION: The food package A to be cooked by heating in the microwave oven comprises a vessel main body 1, an inner lid 2 which covers an opening of the main body at a position lower than the surface of the opening, and an outer lid 4 which covers the opening of the vessel main body. While at least one or more of indents 11 are provided at the surface of the inner lid 2, through holes 5 are bored at the surface of the inner lid 2 and/or the bottom of the indents 11, and food 12 to be cooked by heating with the microwave oven is housed in the vessel main body. |
