PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load to an auxiliary fluid-pressure source by appropriately controlling the driving of the auxiliary fluid-pressure source in a fluid-pressure brake device provided with the auxiliary fluid-pressure source and driving a master piston by its output fluid pressure. SOLUTION: A pressure regulating means RG is connected to the auxiliary fluid-pressure source AS and also to a reservoir RS, the output fluid pressure of the auxiliary source is regulated to a prescribed pressure, and when the master piston MP is driven by the fluid pressure after the regulation to be equalized to a reaction to the master piston, the operation of the regulation is made to stop. A fluid-pressure sensor PS detects the output fluid pressure of the master cylinder and an electronic control device CT compares the detected master cylinder fluid pressure with the prescribed value. It is so controlled that, when it exceeds the prescribed value, it is determined that a brake pedal is operated and the operation of the auxiliary fluid-pressure source is started, and when the master cylinder fluid pressure detected by the fluid- pressure sensor increases and is stabilized at an approximately fixed value, the operation of the auxiliary fluid-pressure source is stopped. |
