BASE MATERIAL FOR CIVIL-ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR THE SAME BASE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a base material for a civil-engineering construction material which can be produced by utilizing incineration ash, sludge and powdery stone and yet readily yields the objective civil-engineering construction material only by adding water to the base material, and also to provide a production process for the base material. SOLUTION: The production process for this base material comprises the steps of: subjecting a slurry containing powdery stone to sedimentation treatment in a sedimentation vessel 1; thereafter, supplying the sedimented sludge to a concentration tank 5 and subjecting the sedimented sludge to concentration treatment in the concentration tank 5 to obtain sludge cake; supplying the sludge cake to a filter press type dehydrator 8 and further subjecting the sludge cake to concentration treatment in the dehydrator 8 so that the resulting concentrated sludge cake has a <=30 wt.% water content; supplying the concentrated sludge cake to an agitation granulator 25; supplying cement to the agitation granulator 25 in an amount of 10 wt.% of the cement to 90 wt.% of the concentrated sludge cake and mixing them together; crushing and grinding the resulting mixture while changing the rotational speed of agitation blades from high speed to low speed in three stages; and subjecting the ground mixture to granulation treatment to produce a granulated material which is used as the base material for the civil-engineering construction material and has about 20 mm particle size and each of the particles of which contains unhydrated cement within the particle and/or on the surface of the particle.
