<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator which is provide with a sufficient light output and whose attenuation time is shortened. SOLUTION: High-frequency energy (16) which is attenuated by a specimen (22) is received by a scintillator array (56) provided with a plurality of cerium- doped lutetium orthosilicate scintillators (57) at the inside. On the basis of the received attenuated energy, light energy is radiated. The respective scintillators (57) in the scintillator array (56) are formed so as to obtain a transparent glass ceramic having a high crystalline phase by chemically combining a compound, for glass formation, at the inside of a glass formation system. Since cerium-doped lutetium orthosilicate is formed so as to obtain the transparent glass ceramic, the compound for glass formation can be chemically combined.</p> |
