PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine engine washing method 40 to promote the reduction of particulates formed in a gas turbine engine 10. SOLUTION: This engine washing method comprises the steps of filling first liquid into the engine to remove the particulates formed in the engine and affecting the operation and performance of the engine (60) and filling second liquid into the engine to promote the lowering of the forming rate of the particulates in the gas turbine engine when the engine is operated in the future (80).
