PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse and recycle available materials and individually separate the other materials by exfoliating a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The exfoliating method of a pair of liquid crystal panel, where a liquid crystal material is sealed into a color filter substrate and a array substrate has the main body of the liquid crystal panel immersed in an organic solvent for exfoliation of the liquid crystal panel, that the organic solvent has >=150 deg.C boiling point and that the liquid crystal panel is immersed in the heated organic solvent to exfoliate the liquid crystal panel. The solvent is preferably heated close to the boiling point of the organic solvent as the heating condition. The pair of substrates of the liquid crystal panel can be easily exfoliated, without damaging the pair of substrates, by immersing the liquid crystal panel in the organic solvent under these conditions.
