PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing display device and a manufacturing device therefor by which a display device having high pattern accuracy all over the display region can be efficiently manufactured in a process with a short lead time. SOLUTION: The method includes a laser trimming process to remove a black film in specified regions by laser trimming in the black film preliminarily formed on one surface of a panel 31 to form a black matrix and an ink jet process to successively inject ink of a plurality of colors by an ink jet device 11 from the other surface of the panel 31 in the regions where the black film is removed so as to form a color filter.
