PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard navigation system by which a vehicle is auto matically guided up to a parking space in the neighborhood of a destination without giving an operational burden to a user so as to give convenience to the user. SOLUTION: When the destination is set through an information input means 2, a control means 17 refers to map data and parking-space data in a data storage means 1, and it searches a route up to the destination from the present position of the vehicle. The searched route is displayed so as to be overlapped with a map image on the screen of a display device 7. At least, one parking space in the neighborhood of the destination is searched. When the vehicle reaches a prescribed distance up to the destination or the parking space, a route toward the destination and a route toward the parking space are simultaneously guided on the screen of the display device 7. |
