PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective washing method of an organic substance attached to a molded product of a thermoplastic resin by using an aqueous solution of a surfactant, and to provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin microporous film by utilizing the above method. SOLUTION: In this method for washing an organic substance attached to a molded product of a thermoplastic resin, a detergent used comprises (A) a surfactant, (B) water and (C) a nonpolar organic solvent and forms microemulsion. This method for producing a thermoplastic resin fine porous film comprises using the above method.
