PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup cosmetic having excellent effects for covering up the skin, and capable of providing excellent natural-finish effects by imparting a bright color to the skin. SOLUTION: This makeup cosmetic contains a complex powder obtained by covering the surface of a powder having yellow appearance or yellow interference light with a colored layer of red to orange. In another embodiment, the colored layer of the red to orange in the complex powder is dyed by a dye. Further, the powder having the yellow appearance or yellow interference light can have a plate shape, or the powder having the yellow appearance or yellow interference light in the complex powder can be titanium mica in the makeup cosmetic.
