PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital standard mechanism in which components are used in common, in which the display of the standard time is digitized, whose standard accuracy is enhanced and in which the number of components can be reduced. SOLUTION: The digital standard mechanism is provided with a general-purpose movement 2 and a standard digitization mechanism 28. The movement 2 comprises a contact 24 and a contact 26 as well as an hour standard cam wheel 18 and an hour standard setting wheel 16 used to release the contracts once in 12 hours. The mechanism 28 comprises a minute standard cam wheel 36 and a minute standard setting wheel 38 used to release the contacts once in one hour as well as a digital display mechanism used to digitally display the standard time. The wheel 18 releases the contacts near the standard time. The wheel 36 releases the contacts with satisfactory accuracy in succession to the wheel 18. Consequently, the contacts come into contact.
