PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire screen device for an outdoor sash having a flat sill, which has a wire screen structure mounted on a sash frame wherein a sash sill provided in an outdoor opening of a building such as a dwelling has a top surface formed as an approximately flat surface, and which has such high mothproof properties as to prevent an insect etc. from intruding indoors from a gap between a frame edge sash constituting a wire screen, and a shoji and the sash frame. SOLUTION: The movable wire screen structure is mounted on the outdoor barrier- free sash which is composed of a head, the sill, and right and left jambs, whose sill has the top surface formed as the approximately flat surface, and which enables the shoji to be slidably opened/closed. A recess of the sill is provided on an outdoor side of the sill in order to swallow a suspended piece provided in a bottom rail of the wire screen and form an insect catching line (A). A tight piece is interposed between a bottom part of a stile of the wire screen and the flat surface of the sill so as to form an insect catching line (B). A vertical tight material is interposed between a side wall on an indoor side of the stile of the wire screen and a side wall on an outdoor side of a door stop stile of the shoji or a meeting stile thereof so as to form an insect catching line (C). The lines (A), (B) and (C) are provided continuously.
