PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residential building structure capable of promoting communications among residents and smoothly transferring to utilization in each floor and living form by connecting a plurality of floors having different heights while holding the continuity of the living traffic line. SOLUTION: This residential building structure 10 is provided with multiple floors 12a-12g having different floor surface heights in the circumference of a wellhole 11 disposed in a center part. The multiple floors 12a-12g are spirally installed surrounding the wellhole 11, while raising the heights of the floor surfaces in order and the adjoining floors 12a-12g are connected to each other so that the residents raise/lower via stairs 13. The height differences of the adjoining floors 12a-12g are 40-180 cm so that the floor surfaces do not cut the sight of the residents. Floors in the downstairs are used as public zones such as a living room, a dining hall, etc., and the floors in the upstairs are used as private zones such as a bedroom, a private room, etc.
