SOLUTION: In this steering mechanism of the forklift 5 converting the operating contents of a handle 53 into an electric signal by an encoder 67, and controlling steering driving wheels 56 on the basis of the electric signal, a rotary damper 67 is combined with a rotating member mounted on the handle 53.
