PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the startability of an engine is bad because a fuel pressure is low when starting the engine because a fuel pump is energized after a start switch is turned on and the engine starts cranking, in a water jet propulsion boat. SOLUTION: The water jet propulsion boat for starting the engine when the start switch is turned on in a state of a lanyard inserted into a stop switch and stopping the engine when the lanyard comes off from the stop switch is provided with a control device for performing a control to energize at least the fuel pump when inserting the lanyard into the stop switch.
