PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof device for a drum brake applicable even when the outer shape of a torque receiving member is noncircular, capable of effectively utilizing resources when manufacturing a dust cover preventing the inundation into the brake, and having a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A seat section 16b of a dust cover 16 is connected to the inner face of a torque receiving member 2 arranged against the opening section side of a brake drum 1 so that the outer periphery of the opening side of the brake drum 1 is surrounded by a cylinder section 16a of the dust cover 16. An annular groove 16c or 2m opened outward in the brake radial direction is integrally formed inward in the brake radial direction on the extension line of the connecting face of the dust cover 16 or the torque receiving member 2.
