PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular joint for a road bridge reducing the generation of noises by relaxing an impact and vibrations at a time when a car collides with a middle beam and an end beam in the case of the passage of the car or the like. SOLUTION: Chamfered sections 14 are formed within a range of R5-R20 respectively in the longitudinal direction of an edge section 11b on the reverse side to the car traveling direction of the upper flange 11 of the middle beam 10 constituting the rectangular load supporting member of the modular joint for the road bridge and in the longitudinal direction of an edge section 8a on the reverse side to the car traveling direction of the head section 8 of the end beam 7 installed on the car traveling direction side of the middle beam 10.
