PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fine metal-combined hollow sphere which is constitut ed by using a burnt foamed body composed of inorganic natural glass as a core material and coating the core material with metal and has low degree of sphericity, low surface roughness and high heat-resistant temperature, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The core material consisting of burnt foamed body composed of inorganic natural glass is coated with the metal and the resultant metal- coated core material is heated in the air at a temperature not lower than the melting temperature of the above coating metal. By this method, the fine metal- combined hollow sphere having low degree of sphericity, low surface roughness and high heat-resistance temperature can be manufactured.
