PURPOSE: A CRT is provided to save the power consumption by lowering a deflection consumption power and facilitate the manufacture of a large size TV by improving deflection sensitivity and screen size. CONSTITUTION: A CRT includes a funnel(10), a shadow mask frame assembly, and an inner shield(20). The funnel(10) is deposited by a graphite layer. The shadow mask frame assembly includes a mask frame and a shadow mask. The inner shield is coupled to the shadow mask frame assembly. The graphite layer inside of the funnel is separated into a neck side graphite layer(26) and an anode side graphite layer(28). The neck side graphite layer and the anode side graphite layer are connected with the resistor(30) for voltage drop in order to apply the voltage which is dropped to the neck side graphite layer. The inner shied is insulated with the mask frame, and the neck side graphite layer is connected to the inner shied. The anode side graphite layer is connected to the shadow mask frame and the mask frame.
