CONSTITUTION: A standard deviation σi when one of a plurality of samples is measured for a plurality of times, a standard deviation σs obtained for the plurality of samples, an initial value N0 of an averaging count, and a desired indefinite element ratio ε1 are used to calculate 1/ε12.(σi/ σs)2.N0, and an integer that is not smaller than the calculation result is adopted as an averaging count N. Then, averaging processing is made to each of the plurality of samples for the averaging count N and at the same time, measurement is made, thus calculating the standard deviation σs.
