PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent miss-printing that may occur when a digital camera is erroneously separated from a printer during the communication. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a printing system wherein the connection between the digital camera 1 and the printer 3 is cut when the lock is released corresponding to an operation of a release button 17 by a user. A lock control section 201 for judging whether or not the digital camera is communicating with the printer 3 is provided to the digital camera 1. When the digital camera 1 is not in the communication state, a plunger 253 pulls a lock member 251 that locks the connection of them so that the lock is released. While it is in the communication state, the operation of the release button 17 by the user is invalidated. As a result, it is possible to prevent miss-printing that may occur when the digital camera 1 is erroneously separated from the printer 3 during the communication. |
