PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer controller, a printer and a method of collecting a use condition of a RAM capable of collecting information for judging reasonability of increasing of a RAM. SOLUTION: A receiving section 11 receives printer control language data to allow a receiving buffer 12 to store it. A printer control language analyzing section 13 analyzes the printer control language data stored in the receiving buffer 12 by using a standard RAM 160. A printing control section 14 develops a printing image based on the result analyzed by the printer control language analyzing section 13 by using the standard RAM 160. When a size of the standard RAM is not sufficient during the operation, a memory shortage avoiding operation section 141 executes an operation for avoiding the shortage of the memory and records the information to an information recording section. The result of the development of the printing image is stored in a printing buffer 17. |
