PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot system letting a user feel no discomfort even when the user talks through a portable telephone and to provide a robot to be used in the execution. SOLUTION: The user talks with a communication counter party through the portable telephone 2 installed in a telephone insertion port 12a of the robot 1. In responding to the sound signals outputted from the portable telephone 2, the robot 1 is made to perform opening/closing actions of a mouth 11a, a nodding action, and the like so as to behave as if talking with the user. The voice of the user is imported through a microphone 12b and a voice responding to the voice is issued so that the robot 1 is made to behave as if listening to the talk of the user. |
