PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a toner save pattern can be selected efficiently by suppressing test print being repeated a plurality of times. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus provided with a toner save mechanism and having a plurality of toner save patterns is further provided with a test print function where operation is interrupted temporarily after printing a first copy is printed when a plurality of copies are made by sort printing and an operator confirms print results before designating print of the remaining number of copies on the operating panel. A plurality of different toner save patterns are used for a copy of printed matter in test print. |
