<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction in detecting the existence of a sheet by deflection caused in the sheet in a sheet delivery device. SOLUTION: This sheet delivery device has a housing means 20 for receiving the sheet delivered from an image forming device, a reference member 29b for matching the delivery directional tip or the rear end of the sheet delivered to the sheet housing means 20, a sheet moving means 18 for moving the sheet to the reference member 29b, a detecting means 30 for detecting the existence of the sheet on the sheet housing means 20, and sheet pressing means 31 and 32 positioned in the vicinity of the sheet detecting means 30 more than the sheet moving means 18 in the direction orthogonal to the delivery direction, and pressing the sheet on the sheet housing means 20. The sheet moving means 18, the sheet pressing means 31 and 32, and the sheet detecting means 30 are arranged so as to mutually overlap in the delivery direction.</p> |
