SOLUTION: A method for producing a decorative melamine resin plate has a process in which decorative paper is impregnated with a melamine resin solution containing the fine particles of the cured melamine resin to obtain a resin-impregnated sheet by drying, and a process in which a base material is mounted so that the resin-impregnated sheet constitutes the surface layer of the decorative plate and subjected to heating press molding.
