<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger reduced in manufacturing costs by reducing the number of processing steps. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises an expanded pipe 8 formed by expanding by press-forming the end of a tube 3c, and a flange 9 integrally formed with the end of the expanded pipe 8. Further, the exchanger is provided with another separate flange member 10 externally fitted to the expanded pipe 8 in close contact with the flange 9. Thus, a pipe joint 7 for connecting the tube 3c with external piping is composed of the expanded pipe 8, the flange 9 and the flange member 10.</p> |
