PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card-type information storing medium which shows outstanding information concealing properties and extreme duplication difficulty as well as a manufacturing method therefor and a reading device for the card- type information storing medium. SOLUTION: This card-type information storing medium has an information storing part 2 which stores information depending upon the presence of a colored part 5 and also an information storing layer 4 covering the surface of a card ground 1a. In addition, the color of the colored part 5 is almost the same as the color applied to at least a part of the surface of the card ground 1a.
