摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear evaluation method capable of setting a proper speed fluctuation allowable value of a drive shaft by a mechanism system conformed to an actual machine without adding a large inertial moment to the drive shaft so as to be to a gear to be evaluated. SOLUTION: In this gear evaluation method, rotation detectors 7 and 8 for generating pulse signals every fixed rotation are mounted on a driven shaft 2 on which the gear to be evaluated 1 is mounted and a drive shaft 4 having a drive gear 3 meshed with the gear to be evaluated 1 mounted thereon, respectively, and the gear to be evaluated 1 is evaluated from the output signal of each rotation detector 7, 8. The speed fluctuation allowable value Ve of the drive shaft 4 is set to Ve<=Θe.K/(2.π.f.J), whereinΘe: gear evaluation allowable rotation error; K: gear rotating rigidity; f: speed fluctuation frequency of drive shaft; J: converted total inertial moment on drive shaft.
