PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass-filled concrete block capable of effectively utilizing glass pieces and slag powder of an industrial waste, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the glass-filled concrete block comprises the step of filling a mixture of a cement, water and the glass pieces in a form. The method further comprises the steps of filling a mixture of the cement, the water, slag fine aggregate and coarse aggregate in the form, and then molding the mixture. The method also comprises the steps of releasing a molding from the form, and curing the molding. Thus, the manufactured concrete bock is exposed at the glass pieces on the surface of a surface layer. Its base layer entirely contains the slag fine aggregate and the coarse aggregate, and is integrally bonded to the surface layer.
