PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a tape carrier package blanking die to perform cleaning of the die in such a manner that a long-stretching band-shaped cleaning cloth impregnated with a detergent dripping is driven at a constant speed, put alongside a rotary cleaning piece as winding and pressed to the die. SOLUTION: The blanking die cleaning device is equipped with long-stretching band-shaped cleaning cloth 5 formed continuously, a supply reel 31 on which the cloth 5 is wound from one end to be stored, a takeup reel 32 to take up the cloth 5 from its other end, rotary cleaning piece at which the cloth 5 is put alongside in winding, and a cleaning tool of such a structure that detergent dripping nozzles 7 located on the upper side of the cloth 5 are arranged in the horizontal direction, wherein the cleaning device further includes a uniaxial robot 1 to admit mounting thereon of the cleaning tool for its sliding in the horizontal direction.
