PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having no difficulty on a layout when arranging a tightener, and capable of reducing meshing noise of a belt and a pulley in the image forming device having the tightener for applying tension to the belt of a belt driving system. SOLUTION: This image forming device has the tightener for applying tension to the belt of the belt driving system, and slantingly drives the belt in the alignment direction by the tightener.
