PURPOSE: To improve the phase noise of an oscillation signal, and to easily set the connection of a dielectric resonator and a feedback strip conductor. CONSTITUTION: This microwave oscillator is provided with a transistor 1 for oscillation, an insulating substrate 2 on which the transistor 1 is mounted, a first strip conductor 3 coated on the insulating substrate 2 whose one edge is connected to the output terminal of the transistor 1, a second strip conductor 4 coated on the insulating substrate 2 whose one edge is connected to the input terminal of the transistor 1, and a dielectric resonator 16 in a TE01 mode arranged on the insulating substrate 2, and connected to the first strip conductor 3 and he second strip conductor 4. One edge of a varactor diode 9 is connected to the other edge of the first strip conductor 3 or the other edge of the second strip conductor 4, and the other edge of the varactor diode 9 is grounded like a high frequency, and the capacity of the varactor diode 9 is changed.
