PURPOSE: A corrosion controlling composition for a deicer is provided, to control the corrosion of a bridge, an iron structure and a car due to calcium chloride by employing a corrosion controlling agent. CONSTITUTION: The corrosion controlling composition for a deicer comprises 100 parts by weight of a liquid calcium chloride; and 0.1-5.0 parts by weight of at least one corrosion controlling agent selected from the group consisting of phosphono carboxylic acid, a linear chain carboxylic acid and phosphoric acid. Preferably the phosphono carboxylic acid is represented by the formula 1; the linear chain carboxylic acid is represented by the formula 2: CnH2nO2, wherein n is 6, 7, 8 or 9; and the phosphoric acid is at least one selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid, sodium phosphate aqueous solution and potassium phosphate aqueous solution. |
